Ukulele Chord Chart
Quick Tips:
- Vertical lines represent the strings. The string furthest to the right is the first string (closest to the floor).
- Horizontal lines represent the frets
- Make sure the neck of the uke goes off to your left. Your left hand manages the frets and your right hand is used for strumming or plucking.
- We often play in the key of C. Common chords that we use in this key are:
- C (I)
- F (IV)
- G (G7) (V)
- Am (iv)
- If you're feeling ready for a challenge, try playing a I, IV, V7 chord progression in the key of A. Use the following chords and start playin' the blues:
- A (I)
- D (IV)
- E7 (V)
